About

So here is the About page. I've never been the greatest when it comes to telling the world about myself. We'll start from the beginning and go from there. :)

I was born in Ogden, Utah. It's somewhere between a large city and a small town for those of you who don't know anything about Utah. It's one of the largest cities in the state. The hospital I was born at has since been torn down and is gone, but the memory remains. lol

I started writing in the third grade. We were assigned a writing workshop. The very first story I wrote was supposed to be a legend. I chose to write about how the cat got its pur. Somewhere in a box that story still exists. My mother never threw anything away.

It was fanfiction that really skyrocketed my passion. It helped me hone my technique and encouraged me to come up with more complex stories and characters. Quickly, someone else's characters were not enough for me and I had to have more. I had to create more.

I was in foster care for a couple of years and it was durring this time that the depth of emotion really began to develop in my writing for me. I look at what I wrote before and after and I can se the difference clearly.

My first published story was the Legend of Catseye and was released for Kindle on February 14, 2014. This is a story that began in 2002. It has been written, edited, rewritten, and completely transformed more times than I care to speculate. Now, this story is finally ready to escape.

The story continues in the Legend of Catseye's second installment, Book Two: Adelpha, which will be released on May 2, 2014.

My third published book is the first of a different series. I've always been a fan of werewolves and I've often felt that they don't get enough time in the spotlight. Vanilla Moon is about a couple who are powerful werewolves and will one day lead their pack, which exists in a fictional town in Utah, somewhere near Vernal. They go through a lot of problems because of the centuries long war between Lycans, Witches, and Vampires, but pull through. The series has no end in sight and I'm currently working on Book 2 while I wait for the characters of Catseye to start talking to me again.

The Legend of Catseye is a story about a strong and courageous woman's fight to fulfill a destiny she wanted no part of. She is joined by her twin brother and his wife, cousins, and her husband, the prince of the land she calls home. Together, they must find a way to fight against the darkness that threatens to consume their land, their lives, and even their souls. Can they do what must be done to save everyone? Or will the sacrifices that led them to this point all be in vain?
